    Tuition Reimbursement (TR)
    Tuition Reimbursement covers:

  • Short-term courses, workshops, trainings, or on-line courses in a non-degree or non-credit program taken for the purpose of skills enhancement and/or career advancement in a health care field.
  • If your area of study is not directly health care related, but your degree or certificate has a realistic chance of leading to regular employment in a health care facility (ex: business courses) then this is also covered.
  • If your area of study doesn't fit the above, the Training Fund will still reimburse you for prerequisite courses such as English, Math, Biology, etc. that are required to be taken before you enter your degree courses. Please check with the Training Fund office if you have any questions about this.
