My name is Cathalina Hayden. I I work at Alexandria Manor in Bloomfield. Achieving my high school diploma is one of my many goals. I have been trying to get my high school diploma since 1996. Each time I started I had to stop to work extra hours to pay the bills.

I am a single mother and working two jobs and going to school is like having three jobs, but this time I am determined that I am not giving up until I am finished.

Many obstacles have come in my way since I started in September 2002, but with the encouragement of Laurie, Tanna and my family, I was able to finish. Thanks to 1199 for having such a wonderful program to help CNAs achieve this goal.

Cathalina Hayden works at Alexandria Manor in Bloomfield. She earned her high school diploma this year.
