First I must say it is a blessing for me to be in the USA, a country with a lot of opportunity for everyone and anyone who wishes to take a step further in their education. I give thanks to God for giving me the strength I needed to go back to school, not realizing the imponance of getting a high school diploma

Thanks to my husband and my son who have been a tower of strength for me every step of the way. I would encourage anyone who wishes to get their high school diploma to do so no matter what. We may think that it is not important but I can say for myself that it is "very important." This is the first step you make towards your goal in life. It is the beginning of what you hope will come in the future.

I must say thanks for the 1199 Training and Upgrading Fund. Thanks for the encouragement you all have given to me. Special thanks to Felicia who takes time out to teach me and to prove to me how powerful knowledge can be. I now feel so powerful I will continue to press towards my goal in life. Thank you 1199 for making the impossible become possible.
