Writings From Voices 2009 - Mary Benson
Since I left high school I have always had a desire to return to school to receive my high school diploma, but as time lapsed it
seemed like just another one of my unreachable goals. When I realized that I could attend the training program to receive my high
school diploma, I was very happy.
In the beginning I had a very difficult time. I had some health issues and family problems but I was determined not to let any of
those situations get in my way. I prayed everyday and asked God to give me my health and strength to let me let me make it through this program.
He did and I am so thankful.
My schooling does not stop here. I am planning to continue my education in the healthcare field as a physical therapy aide.
I would like to say to anyone planning to attend this program, all you need to do is to come to class everyday, focus on your class work and have lots
of determination you too can achieve your high school diploma successfully.
You also can continue your education in any field you desire.
