-Society and humanity has been plagued by prejudice against skin color for centuries. It has led to the death of famous people such as Martin Luther King, Jr. I personally had an experience where someone was prejudiced against me in the past.

In the year 1990, I went to the Boston airport to pick up my sister. When we got to the airport, the plane was an hour late. My baby daughter and I were waiting for the airplane when a white female with a baby in a stroller stood beside us. My daughter then walked up to the lady's baby and started playing with her. My daughter touched the baby and the mother yelled, "Take your black hands off my child!" I then said to the mother, "Is my child not human like yours!" After saying this, I walked away.

Experiences like this really hurt my feelings at the time. Prejudice is negative. We're all here together on earth as God's children. Whether you are black or white, we should all be kind to each other.
